Food Distribution to Support our Community

We are a Drive-up & Walk-up food distribution site for those in need. Whether you are a new or seasoned volunteer, we need YOU! Training is offered on-site. Groups welcome.

Two Locations:

• Sorting and Assembly: 3041 65th Street, Sacramento, CA 95820
• Food Distribution, Traffic Control, and Registering Guests: 3101 Redding Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95820

Tasks may include:

• Unloading and sorting delivery
• Organizing and sorting food for freezers/fridges
• Assembling food boxes and loading food boxes in vehicles
• Assist with traffic control

Requirements:

• Volunteers must be able to lift 20 – 30 lbs
• Volunteers must be able to stand for most of the shift
• Volunteers must commit to the entire shift
• All shirts must have a sleeve (cap sleeve, half sleeve, or full sleeve. No sleeveless or tank tops). Pants, jeans, or capri-length (no shorts above the knee). Comfortable closed-toe shoes.
• At the distribution site, wear sunscreen, wear a hat, and bring drinking water.
