To carry out a well-rounded handicraft program.
Reports to Handicraft Director
RequirementsMust be in good standing with the Boy Scouts of America, Conquistador Council, and Wehinahpay Mountain Camp.
DescriptionThe Handicraft Staff will have skills in various handicrafts, knowledge of and be able to instruct campers in the handicraft merit badges and other programs offered in the Handicraft Area.
- Offer a quality handicraft program which may include Art, Basketry, Indian Lore, Leather work, Sculpture, and Woodcarving merit badges and other camp programs as staff allows.
- Assist in the set‑up and take‑down of a quality Handicraft Area.
- Maintain a strict discipline at all times when campers, leaders, and other staff are in the area.
- Participate in all camp‑wide activities.
- Aid in the set‑up and take‑down of all camp facilities.
- All other duties as assigned.
Experience in skills in various handicrafts.
