Telecom Construction Manager / Inspector
đź“Ť California (Sacramento, Bay Area, Central Valley, LA, San Diego)
⏳ 1-year minimum contract | Potential extension
Telecom Construction Manager / Inspector to oversee and inspect multiple small underground fiber projects across California. This role involves managing handhole/manhole placement and short fiber runs, coordinating contractors, and ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion.
What You’ll Do- Supervise and inspect multiple telecom construction sites
- Manage scheduling, contractor coordination, and reporting
- Review and interpret telecom plans/prints
- Oversee project close-out and quality control
- Communicate daily/weekly with CMs
- 5+ years of telecom underground construction or CM experience
- Strong skills in reading prints, reporting, and contractor management
- Comfortable working in public/private ROW environments
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and standard management tools
- Self-starter with excellent people skills and attention to detail
- Laptop, phone with/ hotspot, valid driver’s license, ability to travel
- OSHA 10 (or ability to obtain)
- BNSF/UPRR safety training (provided if needed)
