- Lead policy development, implementation, and legislative efforts related to child care and development programs.
- Collaborate with Child Care & Development Division units, other CDSS divisions, state and local agencies, and federal partners.
- Serve as a strategic partner in managing the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF).
- Promote equitable, comprehensive, and quality child care and development services statewide.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience working in child care policy, program development, or related fields.
- Proven experience developing proposals, legislation, and collaborating with local or state agencies to support children and families.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to write clear, concise Statements of Qualifications.
- Experience with state or federal policy related to child care and development programs is preferred.
