Under the general supervision of the Chief, Diagnosis Related Group Section, the Research Data Analyst II (RDA II) performs complex data analysis and research in support of the Diagnosis Related Group (DRG) payment system. The RDA II is responsible for extracting, validating, and analyzing large healthcare datasets to support rate modeling, policy development, and program evaluation. The incumbent works independently and collaboratively with other analysts to develop data products, reports, and visualizations that inform decision-making and ensure the integrity of DRG-related payments.

This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

This position is subject to the Department's Conflict of Interest Code and filing a Statement of Economic Interests (Form 700) when assuming office, annually while in office, and upon leaving office.
