ResponsibilitiesUnder the direction of the Administrator I within the Business Services Unit, the Postal Liaison & Budget Support Analyst performs a variety of tasks in support of the varied and complex functions within the Business Services Unit. Working closely with internal customers, vendors, and subject matter experts to prepare accurate reports, supporting documentation, and update management on industry standards and changing regulations.
Reviews and analyzes legislation and United States Postal Services (USPS) mandates that impact the department’s mail and warehouse operations. Works with management and senior staff to identify, design, enhance, and maximize Business Services enterprise services including SharePoint and self-service options.

- Knowledge of United States Postal Service regulations
- Ability to prepare clear, well-written and well-organized documents
- Lead experience
- Experience in budgets or financial services (Ex. Schedule 3, personnel for casting, loan officer, banking, etc)
- Experience writing issue papers, procedures, or manuals
- Experience in a warehouse or mailroom environment
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Self-starter and possess the ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to make sound decisions and come up with alternatives
- Creativity and willingness to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality, initiative, and accuracy in performing tasks
- Ability to work cooperatively with all levels of management
- Dependable with excellent time management skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, issues and deadlines
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Teams, Excel and Word
- Experience with contracts, (Ex. Writing, reviewing, working with vendors and subject matter experts, etc)
