Job Description And Duties

Under the general direction of the Branch Chief, Office of Workers' Compensation (WC), Return to Work and Reasonable Accommodation (RA)/FMLA programs, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) serves as an analyst providing administrative, training and analytical support for the Workers' Compensation and Return-to-Work Program, and Reasonable Accommodation/FMLA programs. The AGPA demonstrates a positive attitude and a commitment to providing quality service that is accurate, timely, and exceeds our customers' expectations.

Eligibility for hire may be determined by your score on the Analyst II exam. For those who do not have current eligibility and/or who will be new to state civil services employment, you must be on the state examination list to be eligible for these positions. Working Conditions

Position located at 1727 30th Street, Sacramento 95816. This is a Limited Term position which may be extended to 24 months or become permanent. Multiple positions may be filled from this recruitment. Telework may be available at the Department’s discretion based on Caltrans policy. In-person attendance may be required based on operational needs. The selected candidate will be required to report to the headquartered location as needed.

Business travel may be required, and reimbursements consider location, residence, and applicable regulations.

The incumbent may telework regularly. When in the office, work is in a climate-controlled environment under artificial light, with occasional temperature fluctuations. The role may involve travel, exposure to dirt, noise, uneven surfaces, and extreme temperatures.
