Contracts Manager

The Contracts Manager will provide contract management expertise and support to the Company’s Legal Department. This includes supporting contract negotiations and finalization, tracking status, ensuring compliance and smooth contract functioning and administration.

• Exercise a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when working with staff, projects, and proprietary information.
• Manage contract review, analysis and drafting in compliance with the Company contract process to ensure consistency and completeness of contract terms and exhibits.
• Ensure contract requirements/obligations are in compliance with Company policies and processes.
• Evaluate and monitor contract performance, changes/deviations, amendments, clarifications, payment schedules, amendments, extensions, and compliance with contractual obligations.
• Manage tracking system to ensure timely execution of all contractual actions and obligations.
• Prepare and maintain reports on contract performance and status.
• Assist in managing renewals, amendments and change orders throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Foster strong relationships across internal departments and external partners.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of contract management systems and procedures.
• Ensure that contracts comply with legal requirements, owner specifications and government regulations.
• Ensure contract amendments and terms are communicated to all stakeholders (internal customers, Finance, IT, Legal, Operations).
• Manage and maintain the development of standard contractual template, policies and procedures.
• Contribute to the development of strategies for the efficient administration of contracts.
• Act as a liaison between the company and trade partners in implementation of contracts.
• Other duties as assigned.

• 5 to 10 years of experience in contract management in a construction and manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Professional certification such as Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) or equivalent preferred.
