Job Summary
This position serves as the curriculum and resource specialist for the Residency Education Program. Responsibilities include the following:
Curriculum support for the Department of Family and Community Medicine Residency Program including Grand Rounds, Blocktime, training exams and other resident support as needed; support for the Resident Program Support Medical Director and Residency Program Director; and Network Administration and Coordination.

Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position
- Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent training and experience.
- Experience working with medical education programs, student support and coordination or resident programs.
- Experience developing and recommending and managing approved program budgets, including the ability to revise budgets as required by senior management and maintaining budgetary accountability for approved budgets.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products to create documents, spreadsheets, databases and presentations.
- Experience in accurately entering data into computer databases and running summary reports.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills, resourcefulness, judgment and discretion to gather complete information, and develop a range of options consistent with policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated interpersonal, customer service and oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with individuals
- Ability to listen effectively.
- Ability to clarify information in a diplomatic way, ability to acknowledge when the employee needs to gather more information or refer questions to prevent giving incorrect information.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills to identify issues and tasks, to complete appropriate information, documentation and materials and to keep records and files neat, updated and archives in a systematic order for quick and easy retrieval.
- Ability to work with faculty, residents and staff effectively to ensure timely submission of documentation.
- Skill to be thorough and accurate with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent knowledge of English grammar for editing and proofreading of documents to produce error-free work.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Demonstrated skill to work in a focused manner on multiple and simultaneous projects, handle numerous interruptions throughout the workday, to coordinate many activities concurrently, shifting priorities appropriately, reacting to change effectively and maintaining accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate necessary actions, work without direct supervision and decide when to request clarification.
- Initiative, flexibility and the ability to work from a plan, incorporate new information as necessary and change direction when appropriate.
- Ability to maintain composure for effective performance under heavy workload and multiple deadlines.
- Ability to effectively receive assignments from multiple individuals with different work styles.
- Skills to impart information and give instructions in a clear and precise manner.
- Math skills to compile data, perform addition, subtraction, multiplication and division for statistical data.
- Skill in coordinating enrollment information with residents such as curriculum, assignment changes and cancellations.
- Ability to demonstrate responsibility for effect on others by respecting others opinions and ideas, and maintain harmonious relationships with others.
- Ability to maintain a professional manner of interaction conducive to working in a diverse environment.
- Ability to work as part of a team, to be flexible and to work with others to meet departmental goals.

- Ability to communication with a diverse population, including physicians, students, residents, support staff, academic professionals, partner agencies and organizations and the public at large.
- Excellent typing skills and knowledge of general office procedure.
- Ability to learn new software programs as needed.
- Ability to use computer hardware such as photography equipment, scanners, laser printers, etc.
