We are looking for an executive-level administrative professional to support to our association’s President & CEO and executive operations. This includes providing, in a team environment, high level and confidential support and assistance to the President & CEO, including calendar management, travel planning, expense report preparation and auditing, and the production and editing of a wide variety of documents, spreadsheets, and Power Points.
This requires the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects amidst frequent priority changes; a high level of initiative, professionalism, integrity, discretion, and judgment; and excellent team-enhancing and communication skills.
This is a hybrid position located in downtown Sacramento requiring four days a week (Monday – Thursday) in the office;
Fridays are remote.

- Serve as an ambassador, not gatekeeper, for the President & CEO through relationship building.
- Assist in making most efficient use of the President & CEOs time.
- Provide administrative support to the President & CEO.
- Serve as part of an integrated team in the office of the President & CEO.
- At least 10 years of related experience in a professional office setting, with at least 5 of those years as an executive-level assistant.
- Some experience in a legislative or association environment is preferred but not necessary.
- Hands-on experience managing and scheduling for a high-volume calendar.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
- A positive, team-focused “can-do” attitude.
- Ability to work effectively under time pressure with accuracy, professionalism, and a pleasant and helpful demeanor.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Ability to compose and/or proofread documents, presentations, and reports.
- Ability to plan and coordinate offsite retreats, events, and meetings.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new software tools and systems.
