The Board of Chiropractic Examiners (BCE) is seeking an Office Technician (Typing) to provide public assistance and clerical support to BCE's Enforcement Unit. The position is responsible for handling all complaint intake activities, processing routine and standard cases, coordinating expert review services, and assisting with petition hearing preparations.
BCE's office is conveniently located at the Department of Consumer Affairs headquarters in Natomas, offering easy access to major freeways and FREE on-site parking!

Working Conditions
Candidates who reside outside of the State of California may be admitted to the job interview. However, they must reside in the State of California once they are hired and start working.
The Office Technician (Typing) works 40 hours per week in an office setting with artificial light and temperature control. Daily access to and use of a personal computer, telephone, copy machine, and scanner are essential. Sitting and standing requirements are consistent with office work. This position requires occasional movement around the office, occasional bending and stooping to retrieve files, and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.
Effective July 1, 2025, the State of California implemented the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) which reduces an employee's monthly salary in exchange for leave credits. Employees appointed to this classification will have their monthly salary reduced and will accrue hours of PLP 2025 on the first day of each pay period as outlined on "Section 2113 - Personal Leave Program (PLP)" of the CalHR Manual.
The salary range(s) included on this job posting do not reflect the reduction in pay.
