Overview

Job Description And Duties. Under general direction from the Information Technology Manager I, the Information Technology Specialist II works independently as a recognized technical specialist for the most complex Power BI reports development projects for the Office of Research, dedicated to publishing meaningful reports that facilitate compliance with court mandates, state regulations, and departmental policies.

Working Conditions

The position is eligible for hybrid telework, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment. Regular and consistent attendance is critical to the successful performance of this position. You must be regularly available and willing to work the hours necessary to meet business needs.

  • Candidates new to CDCR/CCHCS are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting, as well as a Tuberculosis test/evaluation prior to appointment, followed by department annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation thereafter.
