The Federal Reporting Support, Student Assistant, will perform general accounting duties to support the Federal Reporting Unit, including clerical and repetitive assignments as needed.
Responsibilities- Support the Federal Reporting Unit with general accounting tasks.
- Maintain accurate records and complete routine accounting and clerical tasks.
- Assist with preparation of federal reporting documentation.
- Work cooperatively with team members and other departments.
- Student Assistant classification.
- Meet the minimum qualifications listed in the Class Specification.
- Effectively plan, organize and prioritize work.
- Manage multiple and/or changing priorities in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
- Follow through and ensure deadlines are met.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Communicate clearly and concisely in writing and orally.
Salary ranges by grade:
- Grade A: $3,167.00 - $3,480.00
- Grade B: $3,389.00 - $3,724.00
- Grade C: $3,623.00 - $3,988.00
- Grade D: $3,878.00 - $4,268.00

Working ConditionsWork indoors in a high‑rise building. Typical work requires prolonged sitting using a computer, calculator and telephone. Hybrid telework: up to three days per week, required to report in‑person minimum two days per week.
LocationSacramento County, at the East End Complex (EEC) near the California State Capitol Park and Rose Garden.
