Position: OFFICE ASSISTANT (TYPING)
Job Description and Duties

Under general supervision of the Office Services Supervisor I, this position will be responsible for the processing of various reports including but not limited to Traffic Collision Reports, Driving under the Influence Arrest-Investigation Reports, Arrest Investigation Reports and Vehicle Reports via the mail and front counter. Additionally, the Office Assistant (OA) will review and process CHP 180's and conducting accuracy checks by utilizing CLETS, California Law Enforcement Telecommunication System, and CERT, CLETS Electronic Record Tracking.

The OA prepares the CHP 41, Supply

Requisition , quarterly, for submission to Supply Services. On a quarterly basis, check inventory, order and restock supplies as necessary, utilizing Supply Services Unit. Process automotive and Area invoices utilizing the Financial Information System for California (FI$Cal).
