Job Description and Duties
This position is located at the DMV Headquarters in Sacramento.
The Digital Imaging Section seeks a dependable, organized, enthusiastic individual who is committed to quality customer service and highly motivated to provide office support. The Office Assistant (Typing) is familiar with general office practices; can work with staff and all levels of management; follow oral and written direction; evaluate simple problems; and work independently and as part of a team. Under the direction of a Supervisor, operates a personal computer to review uploaded customer documents and take appropriate actions based on established rules and guidelines.
Prepares documents for scanning process by manually sorting, removing staples and paper clips, and mending tears. The Office Assistant is primarily responsible for review of imaged required documents as part of the RADVP Real and proctoring of online exams. The incumbent is expected to take initiative, exercise sound and logical judgment, and independently perform the assigned tasks with a high level of accountability and confidentiality.

The Salary Range shown is the minimum and maximum for a full-time appointment. Moving and relocation expenses will not be reimbursed for this position.

Working Conditions
Part-time telework available. Telework requires California residency. This position offers hybrid telework opportunities; however, telework arrangements are subject to change at any time based on State & departmental operational needs. Employees may be required to report to the office as necessary.
