Join SMUD as a C‑Suite Executive Assistant
. This full‑time, at‑will role provides advanced administrative and strategic support to SMUD senior leaders and the Executive Office.
Deliver complex, highly confidential scheduling, communication, and project coordination for Executive Office staff, ensuring executive priorities are executed efficiently.
Responsibilities- Manage calendars, schedule high‑volume travel, and coordinate board and committee meetings, including audio‑visual and catering requirements.
- Draft, edit, and prepare executive correspondence, memoranda, and departmental directives, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of written materials.
- Serve as primary liaison between the Executive team and internal/external stakeholders, screening calls, emails, and requests; initiate and track action items.
- Collaborate with Human Resources and Diversity & Inclusion to process documentation and approve travel and events on behalf of executives.
- Support department project initiatives, conducting research and presenting data in oral and written formats.
- Provide backup to other Executive Assistants and the Manager, Executive Office as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager, Executive Office.
- High School diploma or equivalent required;
Associate degree preferred. - Minimum 3+ years of senior executive support in a complex organization.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint; advanced troubleshooting skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, confidentiality, and discretion.
- Strong project coordination, research, and analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing priorities, and maintain composure under pressure.

- 5+ years of senior executive assistant experience.
- Associate degree in Business, Communications, or related field.
