Accounting Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Process cash receipts and ensure timely deposits to the appropriate general ledger accounts.
• Compile and scan payments to Billing to post in EHR
• Complete transactions for closing of account cycles
• Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts
• Furnish accurate and timely accounting transactional information for review
• Provide support for analysis, interpretation and audit of AR information
• Assist with preparation, maintenance and dissemination of written finance policies and procedures as assigned
• Assist with the budget process and clarification of revenues and expenses as requested
• Assist with Accounts Payable processing and vendor management

• Other duties as assigned.

• Two years of prior experience or educational equivalent
• Bachelor's of Arts in Accounting or equivalent
• Strong computer skills in Excel, Report Writers, and some accounting software knowledge

• Experience in a non-profit healthcare organization
