Accounts Receivable Specialist - Temp to Hire

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking a detail‑oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist for a temp‑to‑hire opportunity. This role is ideal for someone with high‑volume billing and A/R experience
, strong follow‑through, and proven Quick Books proficiency. You ll play a key role in maintaining accurate customer accounts and supporting financial operations.

• Process high-volume billing
  , including generating invoices, verifying coding, and ensuring timely delivery
• Manage full‑cycle Accounts Receivable
  , including cash application, payment posting, and customer account maintenance
• Monitor and reconcile A/R aging, follow up on past‑due balances, and perform soft collections
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies, collaborating with internal departments as needed
• Prepare customer statements and support month‑end A/R reporting
• Maintain accurate financial and customer records in Quick Books (Desktop or Online)
• Assist with ad‑hoc A/R projects and support accounting leadership

• 2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience
• Strong Quick Books proficiency (required)
• High‑volume billing background with accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills for customer follow‑up and dispute resolution
• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and problem‑solving ability
