Staff Accountant

Overview

LHH is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join our client's team in Sacramento, CA. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring accuracy in our accounting operations. • Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management and regulatory compliance.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Ensure adherence to accounting principles and company policies.
• Assist with internal and external audits as needed.
• Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Competitive salary between $78,000 and $88,000 per year.
