Senior Accountant

LHH is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant for a contract position in Sacramento, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and payroll, with the ability to manage financial records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and records.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Handle payroll processing and related tasks.
• Reconcile accounts and perform month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist with audits and tax preparations.
• Provide financial analysis and support to management.

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in payroll processing.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay:$40hr-$45hr
