Location:

Roseville, Folsom, or Sacramento, CA (candidate may choose preferred office). Compensation: $85,000 - $105,000 base salary + discretionary bonus.

Ledgent, a Roth Staffing Company, is partnering with a growing and well-established organization in the transportation and logistics industry to recruit a Senior Accountant. This company operates across multiple entities and continues to expand, creating long-term career growth opportunities for the right individual.

This position offers a blend of accounting and finance responsibilities and is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on accounting, strong Excel-based analysis, and working in a fast-paced, evolving organization.

• Perform and support full-cycle accounting across multiple entities
• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial statements, including P&L and General Ledger activity
• Manage accrual accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Maintain accuracy over charge of accounts and balance sheet accounts
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decisions
• Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze data, create schedules, and improve reporting processes
• Support audits, internal reporting, and continuous process improvements
• Work collaboratively with operations, leadership, and finance team members

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity environment
• Strong working knowledge of:
  • Profit & Loss statements
  • General Ledger accounting
  • Accrual-based accounting
  • Account reconciliation and analysis
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, data review)
• Some experience with financial analysis and reporting
• Quick Books experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to thrive in a growing organization

• Base salary range of $85,000 - $105,000, depending on experience
