Job Description And DutiesWe are seeking a motivated self‑starter for the Federal Reporting Unit at the Accountant Trainee/Accounting Officer, Specialist level. Prospective candidates will receive a training program that includes:
- Accountant Trainee: Assist in preparing Federal Financial Reports and estimated budget reports. Manage cash flow for federal draw requests, complete reconciliations, and advise on forecasted expenditures. Develop interpersonal skills through collaboration with program staff and control agencies.
- Accounting Officer, Specialist: Perform professional accounting duties of average difficulty, including data organization, review, and analysis for multiple programs. Determine and manage cash flow for federal draw requests, complete reconciliations, and advise management of forecasted expenditures relative to grant awards.
Applicants must submit a Statement of Qualifications or Supplemental Questionnaire along with the application. The SOQ must be in 12‑pt Arial, have 1” margins, be no longer than two pages, and be written in narrative form (no bullet points). Unofficial transcripts are encouraged.
