Senior Accountant

Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our client's healthcare organization on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong accounting expertise and a passion for supporting financial operations in a dynamic healthcare environment.

* Key Responsibilities

+ Manage general ledger activities, including month-end and year-end close processes.

+ Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with GAAP.

+ Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.

+ Ensure accurate reconciliations of accounts and resolve discrepancies.

+ Assist with audits and regulatory reporting requirements.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain financial integrity.

Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

+ CPA or CMA certification preferred.

+ Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in healthcare or a related industry.

+ Strong knowledge of GAAP and healthcare financial regulations.

+ Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Net Suite, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.

+ Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
