Rigging moving and setting machinery and equipment on pads Setting and alignment of base plates associated with machinery

The alignment and coupling of machinery and motor shafts

Adjustment and installation of vibration isolation

Layout and setting of templates associated with setting equipment base plates

Rigging and setting of machinery pumps equipment and process storage tanks

Align machines and equipment using hoists jacks hand tools squares rules micrometers plumb bobs etcMove machinery and equipment using hoist dollies rollers and trucks

Repair and lubricate machines and equipment

Assemble machines and bolt welt rivet or otherwise fasten them to foundation or other structures using hand tools and power tools

Your

Education and Experience Extensive knowledge of construction equipment and machinery

High School or Vocational and or relevant work experience

Minimum of 5 years experience within the construction industry

Experience in wastewater and water treatment plants highly preferred

Work Environment Physical Demands Ability to lift 50 pounds

Ability to stand for extended periods of time and safely maneuver around the nearby presence of various construction equipment and vehicles on an active construction site Prepared to regularly encounter moving mechanical parts high precarious places fumes or airborne particles and a variety of outside weather conditions

Able to climb temporary or permanent stairs and ladders

Able to bend squat kneel crawl crouch balance and stoop reach on a regular basis

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus
