The Inn at Atlantic Heights offers a choice of 64 Assisted‑Living Apartments featuring companion suites, studios, one and two bedrooms, all with the comforts of home.
Hourly rate $28.00 - $35.00.
Part time varied shifts.
Opportunities available for all levels of experience, including new LPN graduates.
Job SummaryLPNs work under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON) and record all resident interactions to develop thorough documentation about their care. They help prepare residents for procedures and assist with routine recovery care after initial treatment. LPNs usually work with several residents at once and administer care according to a schedule, upholding medical routines and procedures.
Responsibilities- Monitor resident’s vitals and record them in their file
- Maintain the cleanliness and comfort of each resident, including bathing, feeding and dressing
- Assist nursing and medical staff with basic medical tasks, such as administering medication
- Update resident records in a confidential manner
- Evaluate the resident’s wellbeing, reporting any needs to medical staff
- Explain treatments and procedures to resident and families
- Change dressings and bandages, ensuring residents are healing properly
- Move residents from wheelchairs, beds and gurneys
- Education:
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) - Currently licensed as an LPN in Maine.
