Lube Technician

The Lube Technician at Ira Ford Saco is responsible for providing exceptional service and maintenance to our customers' vehicles. As a skilled individual contributor, the Lube Technician will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of our dealership and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance services on vehicles including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
• Check and refill fluids, such as coolant, transmission, and brake fluids
• Inspect and replace worn or damaged belts and hoses
• Conduct multi-point inspections to identify potential issues with vehicles
• Communicate any recommended or necessary repairs to customers
• Keep accurate records of all services and repairs performed
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with other technicians and service advisors to ensure efficient and timely service for customers
• Continuously strive to improve skills and stay updated on industry advancements and best practices

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a lube technician or similar role in the automotive industry preferred
• Knowledge of basic automotive systems and maintenance procedures
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
