Painter​/Wall Finisher

Performs planned and corrective maintenance on the building's interior and exterior surfaces. Paints/finishes walls, equipment, buildings, and other structural surfaces using brushes, rollers, and/or spray guns. Prepares surfaces prior to painting. Applies wall coverings and other finishes to decorate and protect interior and exterior surfaces. This position provides painting/wall finishing services throughout the RRMC organization (main hospital campus as well as offsite clinics and administrative offices).

Minimum Education

* High School diploma, vocational school education, or equivalent.

Minimum Work Experience

* 1 year of related experience

Required Licenses/Certifications

* Maintain valid Driver's license.

* MECH Certification (ASHE/AHA) preferred

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

* Familiar with federal, state, and local rules and regulations regarding building maintenance and repair.

* Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry principles.

* Basic knowledge of maintenance practices and safety procedures.

* Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in maintenance work

* Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues

* Ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks

* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area.

* Ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, staff, and contractors/vendors.

* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and manufacturer's instructions.

Pay Range: $19.29 - $28.50
