• Position: Labor & Delivery RN / Travel Nurse (L&D RN)
• Location: Rutland, VT 05701 — Rutland County, Vermont
• Setting: Labor & Delivery Unit (maternal-newborn, L&D)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (April 6, 2026 – July 4, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (L&D night shift)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Orientation: Biweekly (next available: April 6, 2026)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,360 - $2,480 per week

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state licensure required)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience (L&D RN, maternal‑newborn nursing)
• Current certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring (or equivalent)
• Experience assisting with C‑sections and providing baby care in the OR (perioperative newborn care)
• Ability to provide references and a complete work history (including facility details and explanations for any employment gaps over 30 days)
• Must have own vehicle (public transportation is not accessible in this area)
• Not accepting local candidates (travel nurse applicants only)

• Provide comprehensive maternal and newborn care to laboring mothers in a fast‑paced L&D environment
• Monitor fetal well‑being using AWHONN standards and respond promptly to changes in fetal monitoring
• Assist with C‑sections and provide newborn care in the operating room per hospital protocols
• Perform neonatal resuscitation and post‑delivery stabilization as needed (NRP)
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient care accurately and timely in the EMR
• Participate in biweekly orientation and ongoing professional development for travel nursing staff
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures to maintain a safe, supportive environment for families
