Rutland, Vermont: A respected 140-bed nonprofit hospital in the scenic Green Mountains seeks a talented Anesthesiologist to join a collegial team of five physicians plus CAAs and CRNAs. This is a hospital-employed position with the exclusive provider group for all anesthesia services at the medical center. The department serves an 85,000-resident region and enjoys a professional culture defined by mutual support, excellent collaboration, and clinical autonomy.

Work-life balance is central to this position. Weekend call (Friday-Sunday) is covered by a dedicated team. Weekday call (Monday-Thursday) is shared equally among the physicians, with an average of 34 call days per month plus the post-call day off. This will enable you to fully enjoy Vermonts four-season outdoor lifestyle.

Become part of a well-run, patient-focused practice that prioritizes quality of care. The hospital is a Level III-equivalent Trauma Center, with tertiary care support from surrounding medical centers (Dartmouth-Hitchcock, University of Vermont, Albany), which are accessible by ground or helicopter transport.

Total annual compensation of $550,000
