Job Description

The HR Generalist Coordinator I provides all general support of HR functions to the units in the manager's absence. The role offers leadership and support to managers and employees throughout the organization, assists in identifying best practices and efficiencies, and mentors line managers to accurately apply human resource policies and programs within the unit.

Job Responsibilities
  • Create and implement internal HR processes and procedures within ARAMARK guidelines.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop and advise on innovative employee motivation and morale programs.
  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Listen to employee concerns and apply analytical problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Handle day‑to‑day HR functions including recruiting, staffing, hiring, training, coaching, incentives, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Assist in processing payroll.
  • Download data from Time Plus and coordinate with support or IT for transmission or equipment issues.
  • Notify department managers of missed punches and/or errors.
  • Accurately input data corrections, tip allocations, tip charges, housing, vacation, PTO, holiday, and salaried employee wages.
  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
  • Follow ARAMARK policies and procedures as well as safety and sanitation policies.
  • Be available to work nights, weekends, or as the business requires.
  • Arrive at work on time and be dressed in uniform.
Qualifications
  • 2–5 years in an office setting and administrative functions; HR experience preferred. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to create, plan, and manage creative HR strategies.
  • Knowledge of EEO laws and general HR policies.
  • Proficiency with computer, telephone, copier, scanner, label maker, and shredder.
Physical Demands

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. It may also require uniforms and/or usage of personal protective equipment (PPE).
