Purpose of the Job
To provide operational support in the delivery of the mandate of the We Care Programme with regards to the execution of the plans, follow ups on matters needing attention, undertake family visits and drawing management reports.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements- Human Resources/Social Work Diploma/Degree or NQF 6/7 equivalent is essential
- 5 years Human Resources experience is essential
- 5 years experience with benefits administration is essential
- 2 years experience with accounts reconciliations is essential
- Experience with trauma support programmes is essential
- Must have a sound appreciation of different cultures in Southern Africa
- Working experience with UIF Act
- Problem solving
- Planning and organisational skills
- Cultural diversity appreciation
- Connecting policy, law, insurance and culture
- Ensures that the We Care Programme database is continuously updated and kept accurate.
- Ensures that school necessities quotations received are reasonable and in line with the policy before approval.
- Reconciles Teba invoices against approvals and debtors age report.
- Quarterly checks and tracks the performance of beneficiaries on the Programme and engages with parents where interventions are deemed necessary.
- Visit families and present detailed reports after each visit and advise of the state of wellbeing of each family visited.
- Engages with Careways on interventions necessary after the visits.
- Draws information from various databases to prepare monthly reports on the Programme costs, highlights for the month, and areas needing focus.
- Manages the relationships with key stakeholders like Teba, RMA, Careways, IWPF, etc
- Coordinates We Care Programme activities including the yearly event where the Training Department presents various programmes of training available internally.
