High School diploma or General Education Diploma equivalent

Responsibilities- Maintain receiving/issue/return documentation through computer entry and electronic filing.
- Perform daily spot and cycle counts to insure inventory accuracy.
- Monitor stock production supplies at machine centers and issue/replenish as required (Kanban system).
- Set up new stock items in inventory management system.
- Analyze and maintain material specifications and appropriate replenishment levels.
- Monitor usage levels and assist Team Leader with forecasting to keep up with production and maintenance demands.
- Accurate and timely data entry
- Ensure accuracy of inventory management system at all times
- Inspect and maintain material handling equipment
- Evaluate production and maintenance trends and adjust inventory accordingly
- Knowledge of materials management/inventory control is unique to this position.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge of electronic vending software and hardware
- Independent thinking in decisions concerning receipt, stock placement and inventory management.
- High level of mechanical aptitude required for identification, receipt, new stock item set‑up and disbursement assistance.
- Interaction with internal customers, suppliers and carriers
- Unit of measure conversions i.e. pounds to gallons, kg to lb., etc.
- Invoice and purchase order discrepancies
- Judgment/decision making (consider material stocking cost & benefits & choose most appropriate action)
- Analyze system issues and suggest changes to system or procedures
- Time management
- Prioritization of equipment and delivery
- Tabware or other inventory management databases
- Microsoft Office (primarily Excel)
- Lotus Notes
The individual may work at heights of up to 30 feet. The individual will sit 3, stand 3 and walk or ride 2 hours daily. Will lift up to and sometimes more than 50lbs. Use computer, scanner, copier, label printer and material handling equipment daily. Will stoop, climb, and use ladders and stairs daily. Good vision, hearing & communication skills are necessary.
Must read, write, measure, draw conclusions, create methods, analyze inventory data, develop stock plans, direct & evaluate others and do difficult math. Will work indoors at desk and outside on mobile equipment.
