- Assists with performing patient assessments and treatments under physician or nurse supervision.
- Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection; monitors and communicates changes in patient condition; documents patient care given.
- Maintains equipment and medical supplies: reordering, stocking, cleaning, troubleshooting; maintains examination areas.
- Performs administrative or clerical duties: filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, patient registration.
- Exhibits exceptional customer service with patients and teammates.
- Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate actions.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred);
Associate degree Preferred.
Licenses:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or CCMA via AAMA or NHA must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
