Russellville Dental Group, a Heartland Dental Supported Practice, is looking for a Full-Time Experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you’ll enjoy state-of-the-art technology and a supportive team. This position emphasizes patient care and continuous learning.

Russellville Dental Group, like each Heartland Dental supported office, is unique to the community and the patients they serve.
- Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey, sustain patient comfort, and provide education throughout treatment
- Review patient health history to support quality care
- Take and process x‑rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography, etc.)
- Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) to supported dentists during a wide range of procedures in compliance with state dental practice acts
- Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping
- Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols and OSHA & CDC recommendations
- Manage supply and inventory levels and place/expedite orders as needed
- Collaborate with providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow
- High School Diploma/GED
- State Issued Dental Assistant Permit & X-Ray Credentials
- 1 year of Dental Assistant experience
- Dentrix or other dental software experience
- Access to minimum PHI necessary for job duties; regular HIPAA training is required; protect PHI and maintain data safeguards
- Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Microsoft Office Suite experience
- Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities
- Adaptable to changing workflows and team dynamics
- Detail-oriented with proactive problem-solving
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Collaborative team player in a supportive, family-like environment
- Dedicated, dependable with a positive attitude and service-oriented mindset
- Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation; accommodations may be made for disabilities
- Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds occasionally
- Occasional virtual or in-person training sessions throughout the year
