We seek an individual to join our wonderful group of teachers, educators, and assistants. A calm demeanor, quiet voice, natural intuition to read others, creative thinking, and passion for the education industry are all qualities that will make one a successful educator in this environment.

• Assist the teacher in implementing lesson plans and activities
• Provide one-on-one support to students with high needs
• Monitor student behavior and maintain a positive and safe learning environment
• Help with classroom management and organization
• Assist with administrative responsibilities
• Work in the before and after school care program (opening and closing shifts)
• Facilitate washroom routines (including diapers)

• Experience in early childhood education
• Classroom experience working with children
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to effectively teach and engage with young learners
• Proficiency in English and French languages
• Knowledge of childcare and special education practices
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Preference will be given to those familiar with the Montessori approach and Ontario’s pedagogy, “How Does Learning Happen?”

• Monday – Friday
• 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
• Closed during Christmas and March break

• 6% vacation
• $20.37 to $23.86 per hour
• Annual health spending account (in house benefits)
