We are seeking an enthusiastic, caring, and committed Personal Assistant to support two ladies with severe disabilities and epilepsy in their family home in Runcorn. This is a casual, flexible role covering sickness and holidays, directly employed by the families. The Halton Direct Payments Team provides support but is not the employer.

One of the ladies is wheelchair dependent. Duties include personal care, cooking within a dietitian's plan, domestic duties, companionship, and community support.

• Assistance with all aspects of personal care – showering and dressing
• Assisting at meal times and meal preparation
• Monitoring and recording health
• Administration of medication
• Booking and attending appointments
• Supporting shopping
• Undertaking domestic duties – laundry, changing beds, general housework, cleaning and dusting
• Supporting attendance at social/community events and outings

• Flexible casual cover for sickness and holidays
• Working days can be discussed upon interview
• Rate of Pay: £13.21 per hour, £83 per sleeping night

Patience, initiative, caring and a good sense of humour are the qualities most needed. Hours to be worked flexibly and will include weekends.

An enhanced DBS will be paid for by the employer, and references will be required. Driving licence required; you will drive the mobility car, which is an automatic car and insurance is provided.
