Introduction

Acorn by Synergie are recruiting a careful and confident FLT Counterbalance Driver on an ongoing temporary basis for their client based on the Whitehouse Industrial Estate in Runcorn.

This is a Monday to Friday role offering stable hours, paid breaks, enhanced overtime rates, and a friendly working environment.

Key Duties

General FLT and warehouse duties.

Booking stock in and out using a computerised system.

Loading and unloading deliveries.

Picking and packing orders.

Using a headset system for communication purposes.

Carrying out hygiene and housekeeping duties.

Please note:

trucks operate with double forks. Experience is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.

Requirements

Valid RTITB or ITSSAR Counterbalance licence, refreshed within the last 3 years.

Previous experience operating counterbalance trucks.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.

Computer literate.

Keen eye for detail and a flexible, practical, hardworking approach.

Hours of Work

Rotational shift pattern, Monday to Friday only (no weekends).

Earlies:

Monday to Thursday: 6am-2pm.

Friday: 6am-1pm.

Lates:

Monday to Thursday: 2pm-10pm.

Friday: 1pm-8pm.

Total of 39 hours per week.

Overtime available and paid at an enhanced rate.

All breaks are paid.
