Compex Electrician / Supervisor
Location:
Runcorn +travelling to client sites required by project demand
Salary:
Open to discussion (hourly paid) Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate for all hours worked over 40 per week up to 50 hours per week.

Job Overview:
Our client is a UK-based engineering services company delivering electrical, instrumentation, and safety solutions across multiple sectors. They specialise in design, installation, maintenance, and inspection, including hazardous area (ATEX) compliant work.
We're looking for experienced Compex Electricians and Lead Electrical Technicians to work on testing, inspection, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems. Travel across UK sites is required, with the primary base in Runcorn - North West.
Benefits (permanent staff):
Salary/hourly rate open to negotiation based on experience

Company vehicle provided for travel from the Runcorn office to site
£30 daily meal allowance per night away
Typical working-away patterns may include:
Monday-Thursday or Monday-Wednesday
Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate for all hours worked over 40 per week up to 50 hours per week (dependant on project demand)

Responsibilities:
Testing, inspection, and maintenance of electrical systems
Installation and commissioning of equipment
Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Key Requirements:
2391 Inspection & Testing
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Comp Ex 1-4 for hazardous areas
Proven industrial electrical experience
Willingness to travel to UK sites
