Position: Facilities Manager WA7

Facilities Manager Location – Runcorn, WA7 Hours – Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:00

We have an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced, organised and professional Facilities Manager to oversee and lead our FM team or both hard and soft services at our client site.

You will take the lead in providing Facilities Management on a prestigious Pharmaceutical client facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the day to day operation on the ground, coordinating the hard and soft services for the facility and managing the teams on site.

The Facilities Manager will accurately and efficiently co-ordinate the onsite services as per IFM requirements, compliance expectations and guidelines, and will report to the Business Unit Services Director.

The Facilities Manager will also be responsible for liaising closely with the client and other stakeholders such as the in-country and program teams with day to day matters and ensuring these are aligned with any overarching strategic objectives.

A strong knowledge of working in both soft and hard FM services is necessary.

What do you need?
  • Experience working in a Pharmaceutical / highly compliant / regulated Environment would be desirable.
  • Qualified Experience of training & developing a team to ensure standards are always high
  • Excellent Knowledge of soft and hard services
  • Understanding of mechanical and electrical building engineering services, their design, operation and maintenance would be desirable
  • Understanding of financial budgeting, management and control techniques
  • Working knowledge of service provision contracts and contract administration procedures
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of industry related Health & Safety. IOSH or NEBOSH are highly desirable
  • Flexible approach to working hours to ensure our client receives the best service all the time
  • Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Full UK driving license with access to your own personal vehicle
