Located in Runcorn, United Kingdom, our newly extended 120,000 sq. ft. facility is a fully integrated site offering comprehensive manufacturing, repair and overhaul services to the major players in the landing gear industry. Designated as a Center of Excellence, the facility specialises in surface treatment and assembly of small to medium sized landing gear systems.

Key Responsibilities- Ensuring sales and cost of goods sold are accurately reported
- Producing accurate and insightful commentary on sales margins
- Identifying areas of overspend and working with the business to minimise the impact
- Inventory reporting, provision calculations and co‑leading the annual stock take with the Logistics Manager
- Active role in producing financial forecasts and budgets
- Improving and streamlining reports tailored to business need
- Working with Operations and Programme Managers to deliver financial business objectives
- Providing financial input on new business opportunities
- Providing cover for the Assistant Controller as required
- Proven experience as a qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA)
- Experience of business partnering and working across departments to deliver a positive change, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Experience of cost analysis, inventory management, forecasting and budgeting
- Enthusiastic, proactive and thorough approach to work, with good attention to detail
- Ability to take ownership and responsibility of work, managing workload to meet deadlines
- High standard of IT literacy, and excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel would be beneficial
- Superb analytical skills, with strong commercial awareness and business acumen
- Leadership potential and the ambition and drive to progress in the future
- Objective/critical judgement required during financial reviews to deliver results
- Good communication and presentation skills to be able to deliver financial and technical information to various stakeholders across the business
