Electrical Engineer

JDR Recruitment are recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to join our client based in Runcorn

Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.
Salary : up to £45,000 per annum

• The role is Electrical 75% / Mechanical 25%
• Oversee installation and maintenance of equipment
• Performing electrical and mechanical calculations and risk assessments
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members
• Dealing with breakdowns (asked to stay behind and paid overtime)
• Must be available for overtime and emergency call-outs

• Minimum 3 years experience, predominantly within electrical maintenance
• Knowledge of electrical codes and standards
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Domestic electrical qualifications and experience very useful

• Regular overtime available at time and a half
• Weekend call outs paid at double time.
• Minimum call out pay of 4 hours
