MHE Trainer

Here at Wincanton now part of GXO, we are currently recruiting for an MHE Instructor to join our team in Runcorn, supporting our customer Screwfix. As an MHE Instructor you'll instruct, test, monitor, and mentor colleagues in the safe use of MHE and deliver operational safety training across all areas of the operation. The relevant candidate will be working Monday - Friday across a range of times to accommodate the business needs.

Times include 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00 and on occasion, 22:00-06:00.

• Assist in training, assessing and re-assessing all users of MHE
• Ensure the profile of the site is maintained to the very highest standard
• Ensure a high HSE performance is achieved within the operation and a culture of safety is embedded in everything we do
• Proactively undertake training needs analysis and seek improvements in process/methods of operating as well as develop and deliver Safe System Of Work Training
• Design and develop appropriate training and supporting materials and measure their continued effectiveness
• Are you known for being a 'people person' and love to engage with others? Do you have a passion to bring the best out of people? Do you hold a current Accredited MHE Instructor Qualification? Have you had previous training experience and can hit the ground running? Have sound working knowledge of the interaction between their own department and other key functions
• Good organisational skills and ability to manage own time
• Very good written and verbal communication skills and well-developed presentation skills
• Confident and competent in the use of Microsoft office applications (eg; Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook)
