Runcorn. Weekly hours: 42.5 hours/day shifts only. Overtime is paid at time and half.

Northgate Vehicle Hire is the UK’s leading vehicle rental specialist, operating across the UK, Ireland and Spain. We maintain a fleet of over 49,000 vans and 19,000 cars in our workshops. Our Runcorn site supports 41 colleagues, and 5 technicians will help drive branch growth.

As a Vehicle Technician you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our vehicles to ensure they are safe and legally compliant for customers to hire.

Level 2 Qualified Technician with at least 3 years employment as a technician/mechanic, or fully qualified Level 3 Technician/Mechanic.

We offer an internal IMI accredited training department, providing courses in hybrid & EV repair, tail lift, braking systems, electrics, and more. Level 2 technicians can receive a training needs analysis to build a personalised development programme.

• A basic salary plus an up to 8% bonus scheme.
