Edward Mann are recruiting for an Accountant position on behalf of an SME operating in the IT/Tech space. This is a permanent position an a well-rounded accounting role with a broad range of responsibilities.

We're looking for a candidate who can work in Runcorn 5-days a week + somebody who is experienced in reporting and bookkeeping.

This is a great opportunity to join a friendly team where there will be opportunity to develop in the role and take on management responsibility down the line.

• Preparation of P&L for review at month end
• Support Annual budgeting and monthly forecasting
• Support the Annual Audit process
• Monthly Cashflow
• Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Monthly Payroll
• Monthly VAT reports and Quarterly VAT Returns

• Experience in a similar level role, with exposure to P&L reporting and bookkeeping responsibilities.
• Must live local to Runcorn (able to work in the Runcorn office 5 days a week)
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; familiarity with Sage is a plus
