Senior Dental Officer

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band B Senior Dental Officer post at our Cowes Special Care Dental Service within the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare Foundation Trust. Are you enthusiastic, flexible, reliable team player with excellent communication skills?

• Deliver routine and urgent dental care to patients, adults and children who are unable to access care in the General Dental Services due to their additional needs, social and behavioural limitations, domiciliary dental needs, anxiety management and bariatric care.
• Care will be provided to patients referred to or under long-term care of the service, under local anaesthesia, inhalation, intravenous or intranasal sedation and general anaesthesia where appropriate.
• Work in our dental surgeries with support of experienced dental nurses and Therapists to assist in achieving your UDA target and working within NHS regulations.
