The Lactation Educator (RN) provides specialized clinical nursing expertise focused on lactation care and support at the Family Birthing Center. Qualifications:
• Minimum ADN preparation with expectation of BSN completion within 5 years of hire
• State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License or Graduate Nurse Permit required
• Certified Lactation Counselor or International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
• Register with the NM Board of Nursing Lactation Care Providers.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
