Summary:
Performs advanced patient care procedures (such as, initiation of intravenous therapy, splinting/casting, suturing, and simple patient teaching) under the director of a licensed Nurse or Provider and/or performs advanced support-procedures for the operation of the Emergency Department. Coordinates equipment and/or supply systems. Performs sterile processing procedures.

- High School/GED
- Trade or vocational school in medical/surgical patient care
- 6 months patient care experience required. One to three years experience preferred.
- Receives on-the-job training and competency verification to perform primary functions
- Microsoft Office Skills
- Phlebotomy Technician Certification (CPT) Or EMT-I
