HGV Class 2 Driver - Permanent

Location:

Leamington Spa, Warwickshire (CV34).

Average 50 hrs per week at £16.00 per hour, (~£41,000 pa).

Full-time | Monday-Friday | 06:00 start | Immediate Start Available.

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for multi‑drop deliveries of boxed chickens and farm produce to independent butchers and wholesalers. This is a hands‑on role requiring good customer service and safe handling of goods.

• Operate a HGV Class 2 vehicle with tail lift, electric pump truck, sack barrow or hand pump.
• Deliver farm produce to predominantly butcher shops.
• Break down pallets and hand‑ball boxes (10‑20 boxes per customer depending on orders).
• 10‑15 drops daily; regular routes with butchers often located on the same street.
• Delivery areas include local routes as well as major towns such as London, Bradford, Birmingham and surrounding regions.
• Occasional cash collections (approx. 10% of deliveries).
• Ensure all tacho regulations are followed, including a 45‑minute break.

• Monday to Friday
• Start time: 06:00
• Typical finish between 16:00 – 17:00
• Flat hourly rate for all hours worked.

• Valid C (HGV Class
  2) driving licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous multi‑drop experience preferred
• Good customer service skills
• Physically fit and comfortable with hand‑balling boxes
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
