As a business development executive, you will be responsible for To generate new business and revenue opportunities through proactive direct sales activity and secure well qualified appointments for the sales teams. To identify new VAR (Value Added Reseller) opportunities. The role is predominantly a new business sales role, finding new customer opportunities and lead generation through cold calling and other outbound sales activity.
To pass on leads to other sales colleagues as appropriate Following up mailshots, and marketing activities with calls/emails Once established in the role, take ownership of managing both new and existing accounts To provide additional support for customers as required, for example incoming sales calls, technical support and customer service. To pass on leads to other sales colleagues as appropriate Experience required: B2B Sales experience is essential for this position, as we are looking for somebody who is experienced in cold calling, generating business, appointment booking, and someone who is confident in getting past gatekeepers.
Experience working in a channel sales role is beneficial but not essential. Telecoms experience is beneficial, but not essential. SER-in
