This is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Rugby for a Production Manager Assistant (Timber Packaging). The role supports the Production Manager in overseeing daily operations and coordinating the manufacture of timber packaging, ensuring compliance with ISPM
15 standards.
The position involves taking full ownership of stock and materials management, supporting operational controls, and assisting with resource planning. Key responsibilities include monitoring quality control, maintaining production schedules, and upholding health and safety standards across the site.
As the business grows, the role will require close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to meet project deadlines and improve consistency, visibility, and scalability across production, stock, procurement, and site operations. This is a central position within the company, suited to a proactive and accountable individual who is confident taking responsibility in a practical manufacturing environment.
Qualifications- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively in a production setting taking ownership of end to end production.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, ISPM
15 standards and a deep understanding managing stock and raw materials. - Proficiency in communication and teamwork, with experience in cross‑functional collaboration
- Problem‑solving mindset, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to operational challenges
- Familiarity with production operations or timber packaging production is advantageous
- Understanding of health and safety guidelines and practices in a manufacturing environment
